Song Lists: Jean Michel Jarre

Blog #77, which reminds me of.. 1977 and that can only mean one thing. PUNK? Non, something light years ahead of it. Imagine an electronic instrumental recording of only six tracks by a Frenchman. Now envisage a globe on the cover which is decaying to reveal the Earth’s mantle as a skull! Sound intriguing? So were its contents. And more so what was to come.

For those just tuning in to Planet Synesthesia – in my case hearing music as colour (see original post on this blog), here is a rudimentary list of JMJ songs, not all – just enough to give an overview, and how I hear them. Obviously there are of those difficult to categorize such as Magnetic Fields #1 which goes through several parts and many key/colour changes along the way.
